Oct. 9th, 2008 08:22 pmSince the book won't be back from the printers for a few weeks, the publishers gave me an actual-size printout of the cover of DESAYUNO EN LA CAMA to take to Frankfurt with me. I've cut it out and folded the spine to make it look like a real book, and I confess I've been obsessively picking it up and gazing upon it and adoring it.
I'm pleased that even after having published so many books, I can still be excited and nervous and enthusiastic about the publication of another one.

Congrats on this! The author copies of my own new novel arrived the other day and I'm still drooling over them as if it were my first book. Not all of them are that special, of course; but when there's one that matters to me it's just like the past 27 years are as nothing.
Congratulations
