Deep Breaths

I am in the Ljubljana airport, where my flight to Frankfurt has just been delayed an hour. What is most vexing is that there was an earlier flight to Frankfurt I was here in plenty of time for, if only we'd known this delay would hppen...

I am hoping I can still make my connection in FFM for Madrid, since it's the last flight. They warn me that baggage needs more time than passengers, so I may make it but my stuff may not... Or I and my stuff may be stuck overnight in Frankfurt.

I am utterly exhausted, too, so looking forward to getting home, and too tired to read really or do sudokus (I bought a book of same here in the airport) or what-have-you.

I was able to find rice cakes in the little shop at the airport, so between that and popcorn I won't STARVE.

Taking deep breaths.

I once found myself in Geneva with my luggage having gone on to Madrid without me; we have something -- very slim and in reverse, but still something -- in common. I'm hoping you'll make your connection and glad to know that although you face malnutrition you're not going to starve. Good luck to you...
