Now in Ljubljana, although unfortunately we're having a bit of a downpour, that doesn't look like it's about to let up. Hope this doesn't put too much of a damper on tonight's event, although already it must, since the event was supposed to be outside, on a stage, with live music interludes...
Am not exactly in the mood for slogging around town trying to sightsee in between raindrops, so am holed up in the hotel. There is only wifi available in the café, not in the rooms, although the rooms look much more comfortable (in that anonymous hotel sort of way). (I must say I am looking forward to a real bed, and this seems like it'll pass muster on a cursory feel; the last hotel's was not quite comfortable, or I'm just getting old and creaky and only like my own bed.)
Catching up on emails, a translation into English that I did of one of Jesus Encinar's poems has been accepted by the WINDY CITY TIMES for their annual Pride Literary Supplement, which is nice, in general, and especially apropos news to receive during a gay poetry translation workshop... :-)
