I'm very lazy about submitting poetry, I'm afraid. (I'm lazy about submitting to magazines, in general; anthologies, with their finite reading period and specific scope of work being sought, are much easier for me to wrap my writing/marketing-brain about.)

However, since I have a new poetry book to promote, I've begun sending some work out--if only to be able to have a bio note that lists FAIRY TALES FOR WRITERS in it...

Anyway, SPACE & TIME has just accepted my poem "How to Become a Vampire" for a future issue.

Congrats indeed! And good luck with the poetry book! I only sold about ten or so of my latest - the rest I've given away as presents to friends. And it was longlisted for an award too! It's a nightmare market out there to be sure!

I go through spates where I send out a lot of poetry submissions, and then times when I just somehow don't get around to it.... Anyway, glad you did, and congrats!

Congrats on the poetry sale! Is Linda Addison still the poetry editor there? She and Gerard Houarner are two of my favorite people. They're very fun at conventions, especially camp Necon.
