TV interview
Mar. 23rd, 2007 04:56 pmWe got off to a late start this morning and filmed through lunch, but I think it went fine.
They're only going to use 10 edited minutes, so they have plenty to cut and paste from.
I didn't get too tongue-tied, I don't think, and hopefully said things that were interesting and/or intellegent-enough sounding.
We had to do a bunch of takes in the street, walking around Chueca where AMIGOS Y VECINOS takes place, which is mostly what took so long.
This was for a new digital TV station from the city of Madrid, which is why they were so interested in these particular books (I also talked about FELIZ NAVIDAD, RACHID and ANDRES Y LOS COPISTAS).
It'll be a few months, probably, before it's emitted, but I'll hopefully be able to point a link to it when it's live.
(Somewhat embarassingly, there are also these enormous screens in various places around Madrid, such as Plaza Callao, where the interview will also be shown, with English and Spanish running titles.)
