Jennifer Stevenson and her husband rented a van and organized an excursion to the Everglades. If ever the phrase "gator infested waters" was an understatement, it was where we were. We didn't go in a boat, but rather walked on a network of boardwalks through a section of swamp. So sometimes the gators passed literally just below us, as in this shot.
