2006: Publishing

desayunoencama2006 was a slow year for me, publishing-wise, with a handful of books and other projects being delayed until next year (or later) not to mention various new projects sold and written/edited, which will likewise appear in the next year (or few).
I published one new picture book in Spanish, ANDRÉS Y LOS COPISTAS, illustrated by Sara Rojo Pérez (Ediciones La Librería), and one original anthology in English, THE FUTURE IS QUEER (Arsenal Pulp Press; hardcover from InsightOut Book Club).
My collection of gay romantic stories TWO BOYS IN LOVE was reprinted in English (Seventh Window) and Greek (Colourful Planet) and my collection of gay erotic stories HIS TONGUE was reprinted in Greek (Colourful Planet).
I published no original fiction, although my short story "The Story of Eau" was reprinted in BEST GAY LOVE STORIES: NYC EDITION (Alyson). (In translation, my collaboration with Billie Sue Mosiman was reprinted in the Spanish SF magazine GIGAMESH, and my story "Take Back the Night" was reprinted in the Germany anthology MEIN HEIMLISCHES AUGE: DAS JAHBUCH DER EROTIK.)
I published original poems in THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR and the anthologies MYTHIC 1 and 2, with reprints appearing in the anthologies CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE HORSE-LOVER'S SOUL II and REGRETS ONLY (Little Pears Press). (My poem "How to Make a Human" was also translated into Greek, although I haven't yet seen a copy, which came back from the printers just after I left Athens.)
In terms of non-fiction, I had one original essay appear in the anthology SPAIN FROM A BACKPACK and I started writing my online dating column for Egay.com. I also wrote two reviews for the newly-revived THE LAMBDA BOOK REPORT.
