Nov. 11th, 2005 10:59 pmAm fighting off a sore throat/cold. Feh!
And just when I left the house this evening, to head over to the launch for a friend's gay YA novel translatd from Catalan into Spanish, it started raining. Feh!
So I dashed back upstairs for an umbrella.
I did manage to leave the house a bit earlier in the afternoon to head back to the gym. Only 20 minutes on the bicycle and some stretching, but I knew that, even though I'm feeling urky, if I didn't start getting back into the habit of going, I would get very good at making excuses not to go.
Yesterday it was impossible, my forearms are still aching (and I hardly even did anything on Tuesday!) I think I must have also slept badly and cut off circulation on them or something. Ouchouchouch.
Absolutely no news on the books front. The delayed gay kidzbook and the Christmas title should've been back from the printer this week, but I called the publisher yesterday morning and left a message and he still hasn't gotten back to me.
A shame since it would've been a nice thing to have to show off at the gay and lesbian film festival this weekend, since I plan to go back and see a few more things.
