Vexation

I've spent all day at home working. Yes, actually working. And I went down a little before 6pm to buy a bus ticket to Valencia for tomorrow, and find in my mailbox a slip saying: Because you weren't home at 1:45 we didn't deliver this item to you.

They never bothered to ring my bell. Alas, this has happened a handful of times now.

ARGH!

Just as well I'm leaving tomorrow, since I wouldn't be able to pick it up until Tuesday at the earliest, anyway, since Monday is a holiday again.

That happened to me yesterday, only it was the cable guy-- after I waited at home for four hours. I think he may have gone to the wrong address.
