desayunoencamaAs it is, I'm running a bit late with some of the trains translations, but today I got calls from two other editors at the company, wanting translations for two new series, one about minerals and one about gardening. The minerals series will be a weekly rock with a magazine and a technical sheet, I don't know yet what the add-on is for the gardening series, seeds, I assume.
At least I know a bit more about (and have more interest in) minerals and gardening than I do about trains...
Pay is not great but it's nice to have some work lined up. Especially since it uses a different energy/brain area than writing.
Of course, lately I've hardly been writing, so... just as well to have some semi-steady income.
Will probably print everything out and work during the flight back to NYC. Which is far too soon! Must pack. Eep!
