(no subject)
Jan. 31st, 2006 11:52 pmI seem to have lost not my new mittens (well, gloves actually) but rahter the new hat I bought in Freezing Paris (tm). Sigh.
Good thing that the snow (two days ago) and frezing rain (yesterday) are over (for the moment) and today was actually quite warm again.
Last night I wrote a quick article, "Soltero y no fumador" (Single and non-smoker"), for CLARO QUE SÍ (a new gay comics magazine here in Spain). Mostly about how the new smoke-free public spaces law makes it easier for smokers to hook up (since they all cluster at the doorways now and can casually strike up a conversation; they even have an ice breaker complaining about the new law) whereas us non smokers are still faced with sitting at our table and watching a boy at another table (with or without his friends) and somehow surpassing that gulf... (or not, as is more likely the case).
Today my friend Norberto vetted my verb tenses and so on, before I send it off to the editor.
It's nearly February already--gah! Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines!
