Today's EL PAÍS dedicated amost 2/3rd of a full page in the Madrid edition to my two new books set in Madrid, with an illustration from both AMIGOS Y VECINOS and FELIZ NAVIDAD, RACHID, and decent quotes from me.

OK, so they misspelled my last name (two Ms instead of only one) but it is so rare for a major newspaper to pay any attention to children's books, and the piece was quite positive, so I really can't complain much.

And some friends emailed to say they saw Sara and me on TV.

Plus, we got paid the on-publication money, so I can pay next month's rent (this is a big relief!)
