The two pieces of mail that were delivered to me today were actually for two different neighbors.

I guess we have a new (and dyslexic?) mailperson.

I just hope someone else didn't wind up with my mail by mistake, and that if they did, they bother to put it in my box the way I did with my neighbor's misdelivered missives.

Today, my only piece of mail was a copy of THE WATCHTOWER (in English for some reason) and a note in Spanish from some Johovah's Witnesses who stopped by but I wasn't home for them to talk to.

I spent most of today at Sara's studio (and good thing, it turns out, since I missed the abovementioned unwanted visitors) as we took turns wrestling with Quark Express and Photoshop, laying out and revising (along with the Catalan translator who showed up) MI GATA EUREKA and LA MEVA GATA EUREKA (Spanish and Catalan, respectively) which we wound up having to do ourselves since the book is so late and the designers left on a trip before the art was finished and it needs to go to the printers tomorrow morning. But it is, at last, done, and I think the book turned out well.

One of these days, I'll figure out how to post photos or I'll open a FLICKR account or something, and I'll upload the cover.

It's very reminiscent of Holly Hobbie's Toot & Puddle books in tone; cutesy but not too saccharine.

The book's about a girl who builds a robot, and about playfulness and planning.
