Care Package
Sep. 20th, 2004 12:49 pmI got a care package with a bundle of my mail from New York, and also a copy of Dana Stabenow's new Kate Shugak novel A TAINT IN THE BLOOD.
I love my friends!
Alas, I started a new Jonathan Kellerman, A COLD HEART, this morning, and am only 204 pages into it. I feel I really ought to finish it before starting the Stabenow, so will try to be virtuous and follow this plan.
Also, while I've not seen copies of the anthologies, I got the letters that accompanied contributor copies for the paperback of HALF-HUMANS (which I mentioned a week or so ago after hearing from fellow contributor
janni that it was out) and also the new anthology UPON A MIDNIGHT CLEAR: QUEER CHRISTMAS TALES, edited by Greg Herren, which reprints a humorous personal essay I wrote for FRONTIERS magazine in California, "The Kings and I: Spending the Holidays in Spain" about giving gifts on Reyes (Jan 6) instead of Christmas Eve.
