The French pharmaceuticals have been doing there thing and i'm feeling much better. these are some little packets of granules that you dissolve in hot water called Fervex. Wonderful!
Must ask French SCBWI Regional Advisor to pick up another box of them for me since we'll both be at the conference in NY next week.
Meanwhile, today the February issue of ZERO magazine arrived, with a tiny little photo of me in the paparazzi section. Always nice for one's vanity. And I look much better than in the photo of me that appeared in the January issue, taken during a demonstration in defense of the constitution of Spain (that its terms be upheld for all, including gays and lesbians) which unfortunately took place during a torrential downpour, but what could one do, it was the DÃa de la constitiución so not like it could be rescheduled...
My friend Ximo went back to Valencia this afternoon. He's such an easy and enjoyable houseguest. (Often, he'll leave my place cleaner than it was when he got here!)
Still dismal and grey and rainy. So even though am feeling somewhat better, good incentive to stay home all bundled up and continue recovering... At least the weather should dampen the usual weekend noise (my two balconies look onto a street that connects two bar/club zones, so there's often a lot of noise on weekends as drunken revelers pass underneath en route from one section to the other.)
