And, o frabjous joy, int he waiting mail was, at long last, the check from the US publisher that's owed me royalties for the past two years!
Alas, returns have since come in which knocked the total of the payment down quite a bit, but it is such an intense relief to finally be done with this whole messy business.
More later; for now, am off to bank (with hopes the check doesn't bounce).
